South Africa faces significant energy challenges, necessitating a diverse energy mix to meet demand. This includes the imperative for clean energy and a just transition to renewable sources. Exergy Enviro Group has emerged as a key player in the renewable energy sector, driven by these needs.

Exergy Enviro Group is not new in the renewable energy space. In 2016, the Company received an invitation by the then SABMiller, prior to being acquired by Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), to participate in the renewable energy bid across Africa. During the time, the Company collaborated with EPC Consulting firms, and PPA partners to design turnkey Solar PV systems solution, and to map a full equipment leasing option for SABMiller.

Over the past two years, the Company has expanded its development of clean energy technologies. This period has also presented exciting opportunities for collaboration with strategic partners. This well thought move to develop a pilot bio-energy project, came at a right moment, when the major player in the gas sector - Sasol, is planning to shut down its gas production operations.

The initial phase of our project development is underway, focusing on the exploration of conducting pre-feasibility studies for waste-to-energy initiatives. Discussions with key stakeholders are progressing for various project inputs, and we are pleased with the advancements made thus far.

Once the essential components are established, communication will be disseminated across our media channels and social interaction platforms.
